Cultists in Ekiti state would henceforth be put to death. This is the directive from the state governor, Ayodele Fayose who passed a bill to that effect during the week.
Anybody discovered to be a secret cult member would be put to death. Accomplices such as sponsors would also risk spending the rest of their lives in prison. While facilitators of secret cult meetings would rot in jail. Buildings where cult activities take place would also be confiscated by the Government.
The governor included a bounty of N1m for anyone with information that can lead to the arrest of cultist who killed two students of Ekiti State University.
