Chi, as she was fondly called slumped and died on Friday, November 24, 2017 after defending her project. She was in high spirits before going in to defend her work. It was said that she made her friends and colleague laugh before the sad incident took place, many did not know it would be last.
The department of Chemistry where she was studying has been thrown into mourning since her demise.
