Michael, a student of 300level from the department of Financial Management of the University was hacked to death by unknown men. Michael was severely matcheted overnight. Students woke up to find him in his pool of blood, though he was still breathing when he was found, efforts to save his life however proved abortive.
Two of his unidentified friends took him on a bike but later dumped him and ran for their dear lives leaving only him and the bike man.
The bike man out of confusion took him to the Vigilante group close by; he too dumped him after the Vigilante men advised he should take Michael to a hospital or get ready to bury him if he should give up the ghost.
Michael was left helpless lying in his pool of blood till he finally gave up.
Sources hinted that Michael was a member of a cult group and he was killed as a result of an ongoing rivalry between cult groups within the school and Nekede, a neighborhood around the school.
