Commotion mixed with mayhem and fear ravaged the residents of White house and Royal crown hostel yesterday as night vigilantes began to fire multiple gun shots into the air at around 10:25pm. Before now, it was no news that curfew time for residents of Ile-Ife and it's environs is 11pm sharp, however it was surprising and shocking to see and hear the vigilantes popularly known as "Olodes" running rampage around white house hostel located at Odo-Eran area just around the main gate of Obafemi Awolowo University.

Prior to this occurrence, students residing along ede road have been complaining bitterly of incessant robbery operations on numerous hostels. At the moment, students have began to run away to their family houses out of fear, after all "who wan die?".
