Campus still seems a bit scanty because students haven't fully returned to school, but since resumption is scheduled for August 7th, we should be expecting an inflock of students within a week.
However, the few of us who are in school were super surprised when we saw Professor Elujoba who is the newly appointed acting Vice-chancellor of the University accompanied by other principal officers, entering Awolowo hall.
Hall residents were initially clueless about what was going on, but one of the hall wardens came to inform some of us that the acting VC was carrying out a personal inspection on all the hostels in school. Students are now optimistic going into the new session hoping that his visit will bring about hostel renovation.
