The Cybermetrics lab of Spain is an international institute which ranks universities in the world. This institute has ranked Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) the best university in Nigeria,with the University of Lagos coming 2nd and the University of Ilorin as 3rd.
Also, OAU , Unilag and Unilorin was ranked 25th,48th and 50th in Africa respectively.
