Awe Fredrick Oluwatimilehin from Physics Electronics Department finished with a staggering CGPA of 4.83 emerging as the best graduating student for the 2015/2016 academic session.

In an emotional address, Awe Fredrick narrated how he was kidnapped by ritualists for three days; how his father abandoned him and other siblings for over twenty years and how he still made it despite all odds.

Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, who was equally honoured with a Honorary Degree was impressed by the story of Mr Awe. The impressed Governor said he would've loved to take Awe out for lunch but for his busy schedule. It was there and then he openly handed Awe N500,000 in cash to use for lunch. He went on to say:

" Stand with me. I love to identify with greatness. Blessed is the womb of your mother ".

Students have however started hitting out at the incident; tagging it as absolute ridiculousness.
