A circular alleged to have come from the Division of Students’ Affairs (DSA) of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) as signed by Mrs Akinola, the Acting Dean, ordered the closure of two major students’ Mosques in Fajuyi and Awolowo halls.
Student's, especially the Muslim ones are furious by this development and might soon stage a massive protest against the DSA.
According to the circular, the Mosques would be closed on Monday, 5th of September due to alleged reports of extremism from the part of some Muslim students having their meetings in the above named halls.
