Thief, thief, thief was the shout that occupied hall 1(One of the female hostels) this evening at about 7:30pm as a 100 level female student of the department of English and Literature Education was caught red-handed with five stolen trousers.
Just last semester, this same female student who resides at Block C in hall 1 was reported to have fainted when accused of stealing some dresses. However, the five trousers, a bum short and others found in her box revealed that she has been in the business for long.
With crowd gathered and water being poured on her, only God knows what could have become of her if not for the timely intervention of the UNIBEN security men.
