UNIBEN BANS CAMPUS FELLOWSHIPS AND RELIGIOUS GROUPS

Due to large number of campus fellowships and religious groups on campus, the Students Affairs Division of the University of Benin has revoked the registration of all fellowships. The reason for this is that most lecture rooms and open fields have been turned into prayer grounds; thereby constituting a lot of noise in the university.

However, the management has spared a few religious groups which include the Student Christian Movement, Scripture Union Campus Fellowship, Nigeria Federation of Catholic Students and the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria.

Any other group found violating the law will not be treated with kid gloves as they will face the wrath of the management.
