Lagos State University College of Medicine Provost, Prof Babatunde Akibu Solagberu has been suspended over financial impropriety.
Babatunde was found wanting in administrative and financial related offences which led to a call for his immediate suspension by the school authority.
An acting provost has been appointed to take his place immediately.
Babatunde Solagberu, a professor in orthopedic surgery became a Provost in February 2016.
