#UNILAG BECOMES THE FIRST TO OWN A CAMPUS TELEVISION.

The University of Lagos is truly the first in all things; even though most will definitely not agree with this. After being the first campus to own a radio station, they have also become the first to have a campus television in the country.

According to the Chairman of UNILAG Radio and TV, Prof Ralph Akinfeleye, the license to operate the campus television station was granted on Thursday, 9th of November 2017 and was commissioned on Saturday, November 11.

The campus station will start operation in earnest as the University has already recruited staff members for the TV section. Students who have interest in working for the television station can also volunteer.
