Nigerian Universities cannot do without getting shut down or going on strike. Somehow it seems that Obafemi Awolowo University has passed the strike baton to University of Ibadan as stuents have been thrown off balance after the school was shut down today by workers.
Students were really frustrated that their examinations were halted today as a result of the demonstration. However, the gist going around reveals that the school was closed due to unpaid salaries of workers. Students are also criticising the actions of the workers and asking why the inadequacies of the school management should affect their academics.
