Obele Wilson, a final year student of Niger Delta University in Bayelsa State was shot and killed by armed robbers on the 28th of June during an attack on the banks along the Sani Abacha Expressway in Yenagoa.
The armed robbers got access into one of the banks where the deceased was doing a transaction. He and the other customers present in the bank were ordered to lay down their gadgets and other valuables.
During this encounter, he was shot at close range and gave up the ghost before he could get medical help. His body has been taken to the state owned morgue.
It's unimaginable to feel the state of his family and loved ones and it's indeed a sad one.
