The University of Ilorin has been thrown into mourning following the untimely death of one of the school's rising stars, John Paul Usman, a 400 level student of Information and Communication Department of the institution.
JayPee as he was fondly called, died in a car accident in the USA where he had gone for the Mandela Youth Leadership Training at Virginia Tech.
Friends and course mates of the UNESCO Award winner gathered for a procession from the front of his department from where they marched in honour of the departed soul.
He will be greatly missed by all at Unilorin. May his soul rest in peace.
