21 YEAR OLD MAKES HISTORY AT COVENANT UNIVERSITY


Deji-Folutile, a 21 year old boy has been announced and honoured at the institution’s convocation ceremony held on last Thursday as the best graduating student of Covenant University with a 4.97 CGPA in Architecture, the first Architecture student to emerge in the university's 14 year history. 

According to him the worst results he ever got were two Bs, throughout his stay in the university, he scored As in all other courses.

Deji-Folutile, the son of Saturday punch editor, Olabisi Folutile, has a track record of excellence he had the best results in the West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and he had the third best result in NECO in Ogun State in 2012.

Speaking about his career choice, he said he had loved Technical Drawing, Mathematics and Fine Art right from his secondary school days. His words: “As far back as when Iwas in JSS 3, I had wanted to study Architecture. And so after my Masters programme, I hope to work as an Architect at an Architectural and Interior design firm. I hope to wow the world with unique creative designs.”
