SWANSEA CITY SACKS GARY MONK "RELUCTANTLY" .....

 
Gary Monk’s reign as Swansea boss came to an end this afternoon as both parties parted ways after a string of uncomfortable results for the Welsh club.

Swansea City Chairman Huw Jenkins confirmed the decision in a statement issued on the club's website:  “The decision has been made very reluctantly and with a heavy heart.

Monk, a former Swansea player, replaced Michael Laudrup who himself had replaced Brendan Rodgers in summer 2012 after the latter was appointed Liverpool manager and has generally kept them in great competitive positions over the past two seasons.

Former Liverpool Manager Brendan Rodgers has been linked to return to Swansea ...
