POLICE ARREST KILLERS OF FINAL YEAR POLYTECHNIC STUDENT IN IMO STATE...

Imo State Police  Command has arrested a three-man gang that gruesomely murdered 24-year-old final year civil engineering student of Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Imo State, Innocent Ndukwe.

Speaking after parading the suspects before journalists in Owerri, the Commissioner of Police, CP, Mr. Taiwo Lakanu, disclosed that soon after slaughtering their hapless victim, the hoodlums stole his Pathfinder Sports Utility Vehicle with registration number, Lagos KRD 109 BP, two plasma television sets, one home theatre and assorted personal effects.

According to Mr. Lakanu, the late Ndukwe was found in a pool of his own blood in a toilet in his residence at 18 Enuwa Street, Egbu, in the Owerri North Local Government Area.

He gave the names of the all-male suspects who later confessed to the crime as David Kwaguru, from Sirwo in Langtang North Local Government Area of Plateau State; Friday Ayuba, a native of Keyelda in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State and Francis Amos, , a native of Pingali in Langtang South Local Government Area also in Plateau State.
