Two times African Footballer of year and Ex Super Falcons star, Cynthia Uwak is a very happy woman at the moment.
The Akwa Ibom born footballer who was unceremoniously sent out of the Nigerian Female National team is making sure she makes a mark in her club career as she has been named the best female footballer in Finland.

Uwak disclosed this on her Facebook page while thanking her team mates and fans.. "This is not my Trophy it is our Trophy , we won this together , without you'll support it wouldn't have been possible ... Naisten League Player of the year 2015... I'm thankful to God almighty my Ember months to Remember we made it Happen — feeling excited."

Uwak previously played for FC Saarbrücken in the Women's Bundesliga, FC United of Jakobstad and KMF Kuopio in Finland, Falköpings KIK in Sweden and Olympique Lyonnais in France.

She was also a member of the Nigeria national football team, she competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics and the 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup.
